I have always been a neutral shades kind of girl to a point that until quite recently just a couple of items would stand out.
Being a white/ivory/cream enthusiast has always been more about t-shirts, sweaters and pants, until lately.
White boots also known by Go Go or Courréges boots, popularized by Nancy Sinatra in the famous ¨This Boots Are Made For Walking¨, have been looked down on for a long time, reminiscent of the vinyl 60´s and 70´s. But if found in the right material with the right cut you can definitely rock them. For me these ankle boots in opaque leather, rounded toe, square heel did the trick. I was in Paris last week for Fashion Week pairing the white ladies with an ivory corduroy boxy jacket, black cropped flare jeans and polka dot half sleeve blouse.
Is it just me or tons of white always looks better in a gloomy city like Paris, rather than in sunny Barcelona?
Some might be skeptical white a white head too toe look, afraid they will look like a fridge; for me is totally doable if the right textures and shapes are thought. I will definitely be sharing an extreme white statement soon.
